1900 Census form says he was 60 and born in 1859. Update: The 1870 census (he was 24) math fits with the birthdate on his headstone more closely. So his birth year has been updated to 1847.

Spoke with Chester Anderson. His father and uncle informed him that John moved to DeSoto from Canola County. Easter was from Granada County. (He and Barbara Jean visited the church in Granada, Mississippi and spoke with a man name Ward who remembered Easter moving to DeSoto, Mississippi.)
