Susan Callicot is his Aunt as noted on his draft card.
Based on the first census I found him listed in the only options, by age, for his parents were Joseph Callicot or Elizabeth Calicot. In 1950, he was living with Joseph Callicot he's listed as Joseph's nephew. So I'm guessing Elizabeth is his mother even though he doesn't show up on a census living with her and her husband Ezekiel Tate. (assuming that's the correct Ezekiel Tate.
